Heavy
I've been really digging on this band recently. Electric Wizard. Heavy as hell down tuned guitars. Crushing riffs. Sounds like metal to me. Here is "Funeralopolis" off their album, Dopethrone.

Grave Encounters
I stumbled across this lovely little trailer while trolling my way around You Tube. Looks like another Blair Witch-Paranormal Activity-"found footage"-this could be real but it's probably not knock off. It makes me wish stuff like this would happen on Ghost Hunters. Then I wouldn't have to waste an hour of my life just to hear a crappy EVP. I like the dead chick at the end.
Surtur Rising
Those crazy Swedish vikings are about to release their new Amon Amarth album Surtur Rising. March 29th is the expected date. I can't wait to put this on and run around the front yard swinging a sword and scaring the neighbors. Check out their song "War of the Gods". Hail!

Flesh Eater
I just bought the Shriek Show DVD release of Flesh Eater aka, Revenge of the Living Dead. The film was made in 1988 and stars Bill Hinzman of Night of the Living Dead fame. I haven't had a chance to sit down and watch it yet but I am really excited to see some 80's zombie gore cheesiness. Keep an eye out for my review of the film in the next few days.
